About Camp Lindenmere

Camp Lindenmere is a coed sleepaway camp on about 175 acres in Henryville, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono Mountains. Its signature All-Choice Program lets campers ages 7–17 build their own schedule from 50+ activities — sports, STEM, flying trapeze, performing arts, rock climbing, and horseback riding — trying new things every day. Campers attend for 3 or 6 weeks, and rising 11th graders can join the LT leadership program.

Everything a summer camp should be!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Camp Lindenmere is truly something special. The owners and leadership team are some of the most honest, caring, communicative, and genuine people we’ve ever met. They truly put the children and their staff first, and they’ve created a camp that feels like one big family. Before camp even begins, every camper makes a commitment to be kind, be a good friend, and help create an inclusive community. That speaks volumes about the values of Camp Lindenmere. It isn’t just something they sign before arriving—it’s something the camp genuinely lives by throughout the entire summer, and you see it reflected every day. The amount of thought that goes into every child is incredible. They carefully consider bunk placements, friendships, personalities, and counselor pairings to create the best possible experience. If something isn’t working, they’re willing to make changes because their priority is always what’s best for the children. The campus is beautiful, the air-conditioned facilities are exceptional, and it’s obvious they continually reinvest in the camp. The food is outstanding—they even bring in the restaurant management team and chefs from their Aspen restaurant to oversee the dining program. The Choice Program is exceptional, the weekly trips are incredible, and the nightly blogs keep parents informed and connected. What stands out most is that everything feels intentional. Every decision is made with the children’s best interests in mind, and that culture is felt throughout the entire camp. Part of me wants to keep Lindenmere a secret because it feels like such a special place, but families deserve to know about it. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Camp Lindenmere and couldn’t recommend it more highly.
