Camp Ramapo, run by the nonprofit Ramapo for Children (founded 1922), sits on 250 acres on Lake Sepasco in Rhinebeck, New York. It is a coed residential camp for children ages 6β16 affected by social, emotional, or learning challenges, including ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, with a roughly 1:1 camper-to-staff ratio. Campers choose 1-, 2-, or 3-week sessions filled with swimming, boating, hiking, high ropes, arts, and a farm, all delivered through the strengths-based Ramapo Approach.
