About Camp Tapawingo
Camp Tapawingo is a private, independent overnight camp for girls ages 8–16, nestled among the pines on the shores of Keyes Pond in Sweden, Maine. Since 1919 it has fostered compassion, courage, and confidence through a joyful, tradition-rich culture: a full waterfront with swimming and sailing, tennis, team sports, gymnastics, horseback riding, dance, theater, music, fine arts, filmmaking, and wilderness adventure. Girls attend 3.5-week or 7-week sessions in a deliberately small, close-knit community.
