Enjoyed my experience
I was a camper at Island Lake for 5 summers. I really enjoyed it, until I aged out. Made great lifelong friends, and still keep in touch with many of them to this day. We did however, have issues with the old camp ownership -- the former director wasn't a great people person (which is important when you run a summer camp) -- but I understand they're under new ownership now. Would send my children there, and would reccomend.
