About Sababa Beachaway
Sababa Beachaway is a coed Jewish overnight camp for rising 4th-12th graders, hosted on the Virginia Wesleyan University campus in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Campers choose an ocean-focus track - surfing, sailing, scuba diving, or ocean discovery - alongside traditional camp activities and pluralistic Jewish programming with kosher dining. Founded in 2018 through the Foundation for Jewish Camp incubator and now run by Commonpoint, it is known for non-competitive two-week sessions and a warm, inclusive community, and appears on UJA-Federation of New York's list of inclusive Jewish camps.
